Answers to the questions we hear most often.

An interior designer’s focus is the form and function of a space. We partner with clients to achieve a desired aesthetic and design that enhances their lifestyle. We collaborate with other professionals like architects and contractors as needed, based on the type and scale of the project. As the designer we select all of the finishes for the home (like tile, plumbing etc) and furniture. An architect’s expertise is in building and structure, so they’ll be on the project team for additions or new builds. A contractor builds from the design plans created by the architect and designer.

Full-service design is a turn-key experience. We guide your project from the very first concept all the way through installation day — selecting finishes, sourcing furniture, managing tradespeople, and styling your space once everything is in place. If you want to hand off the details and arrive to a finished home, this is for you.

We use a hybrid pricing model, and provide a custom proposal based on the scope and nature of your project. Design Services are calculated as a flat-fee, based on past similar projects, square footage, and the time required to complete the design. Once the design phase is complete, we move in to procurement & project management which are billed hourly. During our initial conversation, we'll walk you through exactly how fees are structured for your specific situation. Transparency is important to us — you'll always know where your investment is going.

It begins with an inquiry form on our website. Once we receive it, we'll reach out to schedule a complimentary discovery call to learn more about your project. If we're a great fit, we'll prepare a design proposal outlining scope and next steps. From there, contracts are signed and we get to work.

Most furnishing and renovation projects run between 6 - 12 months. New construction timelines vary more widely, with most ranging from 1-3 years. Good design takes time, and we always recommend reaching out 6–12 months before you'd like work to begin so we can plan thoughtfully and hit the ground running when the moment is right.

Absolutely — we work with clients all across the country. Distance projects follow the same process as local ones, with a combination of virtual presentations, close collaboration with your on-site contractor, and strategic in-person site visits to keep everything on track.

Yes. Our e-design offering is a great fit for clients who want expert guidance and a polished design direction without the full-service commitment. We'll work together virtually to create a concept, sourcing recommendations, and a clear plan you can bring to life on your own timeline.

Always. We believe the best interiors come from a genuine understanding of how you live. At the start of every project, we listen closely to your lifestyle, preferences, and goals. From there, we lead the creative direction — and we build in revision rounds to make sure the final result truly feels like you.

We begin by establishing the vision and goals for the project, walking you through style, materials, and functional needs. Once aligned, we develop AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings so you can visualize the space before anything is built. We also gather physical samples for everything we can and review together in person.
